Design end connections with one or two
clip angles, bolted or welded. Determines clip thickness, number of bolts,
weld size, block sizes of beam when framing into another beam, flange cuts
when framing into a column web, end reaction and maximum shear. Checks
bearing on web and clips, block shear, stress on clips, bolt shear,
eccentricity and bending moments. Default parameters such as grade of steel,
percentage of Wc/l, hole spacing, beam gage, size of welded clip leg, and
gage of bolted leg can be changed to suit your connection.
